These are my sister’s engagement photos! Earlier this year my sister’s boyfriend proposed to her at the Candy Store in the small town of Nanton, where they first met and had their very first date. So cute, right?! And I was there for it, so let me share that hilarious story.
We were definitely bare bones tent camping on this trip! We packed everything we needed in 2 large duffels, 2 backpacks and 2 carry on size suitcases. We checked the large duffels and then rented a car in Calgary to get us and all of our belongings to Banff.
We started talking about engagement photos and I suggested we take a hike in the mountains for the shoot and take pictures along the way. They were really excited about this, since they spend so much time hiking in the rockies, and I was excited that we would create real memories for them to look back on, that would reflect so well who they are as a couple.
I don't know if I've ever looked forward to photographing a wedding this much before, because this will be my very first DESTINATION WEDDING!
