Shopping local and supporting fellow businesses in Calgary is my favourite way to purchase, so I’ve compiled a list of some of the shops offering unique and delicious Easter treats in Calgary in 2022. Whether your favourite treat is chocolate, candy, ice cream or baked goods, Calgary local businesses have you absolutely covered for Easter! Our city is full of talented creatives.
Where in Calgary to Buy Local Chocolate for Easter
CocoYYC Luxury Sweets & Treats
They make beautiful chocolates, chocolate bars, and they make smash eggs, a hollow chocolate egg that comes with a little mallet to smash the exterior and find that the egg is filled with candy! What could be more fun than that, especially for the chocolate and candy lovers you know. I’ve already got some on order for my kids.

Cōchu Chocolatier
They make everything chocolate, from bunnies to eggs to bark, but the most unique item they offer is their jewelled glow egg that has candy embedded in it, making it glow all kinds of magical colours when you hold it up to the light.

The Chocolate Lab
Modern shapes and colourful designs make this local chocolate shop stand out. They sell unique and fun flavours of geometric chocolate bunnies as well as gorgeous, large designer eggs filled with delicious chocolatey insides, including: Mixed Fruit Malts, Saturday Morning Blend, Caramelized, Milk, and White Chocolate Rainbow Unicorns.

The Sugar Cube
The Sugar Cube sells all kinds of candy locally, packaged in the cutest ways. If your children are not huge fans of chocolate (like me as a child, thank goodness I came around!) but love candy, picking up one of these candy carrots is a fantastic alternative for Easter treats.

Made By Marcus
Forever a master of pairing unique flavours for a one-of-a-kind experience, Made by Marcus offers seasonal flavours every month, April’s being an assortment of spring and Easter themes like Malted Mini-Egg, Ube Passionfruit Marshmallow, Lemon Meringue Pie and Cashew Carrot Cake.

When on the hunt for a delicious gelato, this local maker creates unique and delicious flavours regularly, including for the Easter season, such as their Chocolate Easter Egg and Carrot Cake & Cream Cheese flavours.

Local to Calgary and working in small batches, Milk ice cream can be purchased in store. They have adorable packaging and fun flavours the children would get a kick out of, I am sure, such as White Bunny candy and Mini Egg flavours.

If your’e looking for some of the best (and cutest) sugar cookies in Calgary, look no further. From adorable pastel designs to paint your own easter egg cookies, as well as options to personalize cookies with your children’s names on them, Jocelyn offers all the best in sugar cookies. I would know, the ones she made for me for Halloween were stunning.

For the cake lovers amongst your family, here’s an Easter cake that you can actually place in an Easter basket, since they all come in the cutest jars. This adorable bakery is selling the cutest meringue covered easter cakes, as well as beautiful chocolate lollipops and giant surprise eggs in different spring animals.

Pretty Sweet
Always whipping up the most imaginative and playful treats of all kinds, Pretty Sweet has a large array of fun baked goods to celebrate Easter with. Their Easter menu boasts a mini egg cake, mini egg cookies, sugar cookies, cookie sandwiches, macarons, donuts, bars, candy bark and jelly bean popcorn. I know we will be ordering some macarons for sure, they’re the treat my son finds to be the most special, I can’t wait to see his face when he finds them in his Easter basket.
