A few months ago I had the amazing opportunity to take photos of little Evanna. I have done many photos for Kierra, her mother, but this shoot was extra special, because we weren't sure we would even get the chance to do it while she was a newborn.
Evanna has a rare heart defect (follow her story here), and we didn't think she would have the opportunity to come home before undergoing heart surgery. As events would have it, she has been able to spend some time at home with her parents, and on Kierra's drive home from the hospital she called me to book Evanna's shoot right away.
This little girl holds a special spot in a lot of hearts, and I'm so grateful we were able to get some photographs of her enjoying a short stretch of "normal life." Say a little prayer for her.
