Ashlyn decided to book a Motherhood Shoot in Calgary with me as her photographer. She was unbelievably kind to share what she thought of the experience, and I would love to share her words with you:
A Motherhood Shoot Testimonial
“I wanted to do the motherhood shoot because I spend the majority of my days with my 3 little kids and I hardly have any photos of me to show for it. I want to remember every little detail about them, time goes so fast and in the hard moments I just remember that one of these days I'm really going to miss this! Life can be crazy, but the photos can show the sweet memories that I want to remember and cherish later on.
“I was a little worried about how the shoot was going to go, mostly because of my 1 year old who won't stay still! However, because the shoot is about having fun together and doing activities that we would normally do, it made it fun for all the kids and my youngest was pretty entertained as well. Instead of trying to force the kids to stand still and smile, this shoot was about interacting and having fun.
“The candid pictures turned out so great, Jennie was also successful at catching the odd moment where we would all look at the camera so we had those pictures as well.
“Jennie helped plan where and what we should do for the shoot and if there was anything I wanted specifically, she was all for it. She also helped with wardrobe choices and told me what colours would look best on camera. I really enjoyed the flexibility she had, as well as the willingness to help in whatever way possible.
“The kids all had so much fun and said they wanted to do it again!”
